Calendar/Morning Meeting area - you may be asking where is the calendar?  Well, I am waiting for them to move a Promethean board into my room and here is where it will go.  If it isn't there by meet the teacher I'll put up my own calendar goodies.

New Project

Today I had new teacher inservice...so I didn't get much done in my room.  What I did finish, I forgot to take pictures of.  I wasn't much though but I did manage to score some cubbies!  

On another note, when I ended up inheriting some old foam floor tiles.  No rug in my room.  So I decided to write up a project on Donors Choose.  I had one funded last year, but I have changed schools so this would impact my new class.

I went up to school today to work a little.  I am running short on time.  Next week I start new teacher inservice.  YIKES!

Once the 3rd grade furniture was out and mine was in, I could arrange things.  The tables still need to be lowered and I have shelves to bring in, but looking better so far.

Classroom...Day 1 and 2

I tried to clean the chalk board and started to add border.

Oh, did I mention 3rd grade furniture was still in the room.

When I came in on Monday I really didn't get much done but covering the boards and emptying boxes.  My room had the 3rd grade furniture and no kinder stuff anywhere in sight.  Luckily during the next few days my teammates helped me hunt down and move the kinder furniture into my room.
